New Offices for Cranswick

The Challenge

After undertaking several successful projects for our clients, Cranswick Foods PLC. Cranswick approached GGP Consult Architects to provide a concept on how we could defragment and free up space one of their large main production sites in East Yorkshire. This to allow the site present and future growth capacity.

The Solution

GGP put forward a solution which firstly, amalgamated Staff Parking Provision across the site by moving it out to one side. This then freeing up space to allow for the development of amalgamated Offices, Changing and Canteen functions. Further, by collecting groups of functions together, space was created to allow new storage and distribution on the site and then also the demolition of the older satellite facilities. This then freeing up further space for future consideration.

The design of the new facilities respected the overall aesthetic of present structures whilst modernising and ‘greening’ the site and also linking with Cranswick’s requirement to develop a corporate identity across their manufacturing sites.
