Marine & Waterways
We have 15 years expertise in the design of oil and gas offloading structures, including deep water, anchored, tubular steel jackets and (more commonly) pile and cap structures.
In addition to which we have an excellent understanding of metocean conditions and the loads applied to marked vessels, along with the optimum mooring infrastructures required. We have been involved in over 20 of these facilities to date, taking several through to commissioning and with other projects still ongoing.
Our teams have extensive experience in the inspection, assessment and repair of offshore structures constructed of steel, timber and concrete including both gas and oil, as well as other liquids and bulk materials.
Previously we have a also designed an extension to the canal system in Salford Keys in Manchester.
We support the Environment Agency with numerous designs and investigations, including flood bank raising & stabilisation, scour protection, outfolds, inlets and other marine related structures.
