£4.2 Million
2015
GGP Consult were appointed by Galliford Try as part of the 'Priority Schools Building Programme' government funded programme.
Working with Galliford Try and DLA Architecture the £4.2M new build in West Hull was one of six primary schools in Hull to receive a total of £23M. The fit for purpose rebuild saw a new two storey school constructed adjacent to the existing building which was then demolished.
The existing dining block was retained and additional landscaping and planting included as part of the works.
The new school will help to build a stronger economy and a fairer society, so that every young person across the region is given the best possible start to their education.
The development not only vastly improved the facilities for the children but also provided an additional 140 places for the school therefore ensuring that parents in the local area were able to secure places for their children at their local school.
